Some of our best memories are of Kade playing baseball at Tushla Field in Auburn.  Part of those memories includes Kade and his teammates gathering outside the equipment shed known as the doghouse.  

One of the goals was to give back to the place that meant so much to our family.  Constructing a new doghouse with a players' shelter out front was the ideal way to achieve this goal.  The idea was pitched to long-time Auburn Legion Supporters Bob and Pat Engles.  They fully endorsed the idea and helped to get the ball rolling.

Once the Nemaha County Fairboard approved construction, the project was turned over to ET Construction, owned by Eric Shelton.  Eric was a key force in getting the majority of the materials and labor donated to the project.  By mid-August 2022, the new Doghouse and Players' Shelter was a reality.

A plaque honoring Kade is on the side of the building for all to see.  It says:

Players' shelter and doghouse in Memory of Kade Reiman.  Dedicated to the "Boys of Summer", past and present, who sit here and cheer on their teammates, remember past glories, and simply enjoy the game they love.
